John McNulty

 

John was born in Dublin in 1949, studied painting and sculpture in the National College of Art in Dublin, studied etching in the Centre Genevois de la Gravure and at the Atelier Raymond Mayer in Switzerland.

His etchings have been published by Anima Graphics and London Contemporary Art.

Awards include the O’Sullivan Graphics Prize at the RHA, the Norman Ackroyd etching prize and the Phylis MacNamara Award at Impressions Galway.

John has had one man exhibitions at the Project Gallery, Geoghagen Gallery, Clare Morris Gallery and recently The Linenhall Arts Centre, Castlebar.

He has participated in numerous group exhibitions including the RHA for 8 years, the Bradford Biennale and Boyle Arts Festival.

His work is in many public and private collections including the Irish State, and Boyle Civic Collection, his commissions include work for Jury’s, Aghadoe Heights and Ormonde Hotels and The Irish Presidency of the EU.
