John is from Clonmel, County Tipperary. He is a graduate of the Crawford College in Cork. His ambition to establish an exhibition space that would be sympathetic to his work and emerging artists inspired him and his partner to establish Mill Cove Gallery on the Beara Peninsula in May 2000. The distinctive, unique and unspoilt landscape of the Southwest Ireland informs and inspirits his work. John has exhibited extensively, and his works are in private collections in Ireland, the U.K., America, France and Australia.
