Lynn graduated with a first class honour in Contemporary Applied Art from Crawford College of Art and Design , Cork in 2023. Focusing on Ceramics and Glass she works from her home studio in Cork.
Lynn has a keen interest in DNA and Genetics. The FBN1 Gene is responsible for causing Marfan Syndrome, an inherited genetic condition that has affected her family. One of its symptoms is Spinal Curvature such as Scoliosis and Kyphosis. Deforming the body, shortening the torso, pushing out the shoulder blade, tilting the hips, and adjusting the normal body ratios. Lynn has created 3D sculptural objects portraying these curves and twists. The imagery is created using DNA tables and the Marfan Gene applied using custom silk screen stencils.
She won 8 awards in her graduating year and her work has featured in The Irish Arts Review and The contemporary Glass Society (graduate review)
She has exhibited at Ceramics Ireland Selected Exhibition, Dublin. Ceramics Ireland Members Exhibition, Dublin, Graduate Group Exhibition Lavit Gallery Cork, Emerge Exhibition, The Gallery Grand Parade, Cork
